The screening took place in Dettah on Chief Drygeese Territory, right where the NWT scenes were shot for the film. The audience included local crew that worked on the film, including Line Producers Pablo Saravanja and Jay Bulckaert and Language Consultant Lillian Elias.

“Huge kudos to Marie Clements for hiring local and trying and wanting to hire local.”

Cabin Radio NWT was on the red carpet getting some exclusive interviews with the people behind the film, including our director Marie Clements. They captured the event beautifully!

“The story originated here. I really wanted the audiences to see the land and the faces of the people. The whole thing started here. That’s huge for me.”
